Job description:
This position is aimed at highly motivated individuals with an interest in applying advanced MIS approaches to integrate company's various sources of customer intelligence. Candidates are expected to combine their solid understanding of company's strategic business objectives with the ability to organize customer data in a way that would support and guide the execution of these objectives. The role and responsibilities can vary upwards depending on the degree of the candidate's self-motivation and entrepreneurial thinking. Main tasks include:
Data integration, maintenance and operations (60% of time)
- * Be Responsible for maintenance of company's contact, business intelligence, and financial data
* Extract and interrogate information from Customer Data Warehouse, identifying data issues/ gaps, determining corrective action needed and updating into the Customer Data Warehouse
* Provide support & expertise in data integration and data management to develop key strategic marketing initiatives
* Specific customer segmentation data tasks:- o Revenue Linkage - Assign revenues to correct accounts
o Sales alignment - align accounts to correct sales teams
o Customer information - maintain account information such as employee counts, group hierarchies, company data validation, etc.
o Contact Management alignment - align EMD account information with Tracker contact information
o Account Baselining - ongoing addition of relevant accounts into Customer database
* Continuously find ways to increase linkage of data and automation of reporting suites and data maintenance tasks
* Set up processes to standardise and "automate" real time reporting in the BU to the greatest extent possible.
Examples:
Creation of all-in-one SQL cubes that would link and automate data extraction from various intelligence data sources - o Revenue Linkage - Assign revenues to correct accounts
Reporting and sales execution (40% of time)
* Provide BI tool trainings for new users as well as for these users who require additional training and find ways to increase effective usage of BI tools for customer penetration
* Work with sales and sales management in the provision of segment-based account planning tools and account scorecards as a key aid in prioritising sales activity
* Provide as requested input into Ops Reviews, Forecast Reviews and Sales Reviews
* Become proactive in creating new reports that will aid Sales/Marketing/Management better align their resources
* Support and continuously improve reporting suites on company's key performance metrics across different parts of the business.
Qualifications:
* Graduate degree from Α.Ε.Ι. (ή Ι.Ε.Κ.) with specialization in an of applied maths, database systems, programming and statistics (preferably Politechneio or for example, ΑΣΟΕ /Tμήμα Πληροφορικής)
* SQL familiarity (database creation, file management, SQL queries) is a plus
* Familiarity with Data Integration/Business Intelligence Design tools (Business Objects, Cognos, etc.) is a plus
* Any business and financial background is a plus
* Prior work experience in business related field is a plus
* Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Access, Powerpoint)
