Πρόβλημα με VBox Guest Additions

Έχω στήσει ένα Virtual Box σε Windows 7 και προσπαθώ να εγκαταστήσω το Guest Additions. Eνώ ξεκινά το installation κάπου στη μέση πετάει Error και σταματά. Το install_ui.log αναφέρει ατ εξής:

Κοίταξα σε κάποια forums που λένε να κάνεις installation μέσω safe mode αλλά και πάλι πετάει το ίδο σφάλμα. Δοκίμασα και στο Ubuntu που είναι guest να τρέξω:

sh ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run

Αλλά δεν δουλεύει τίποτα. Έχει αντιμετωπίσει κανείς αυτό το πρόβληα;

Μήπως έχεις παλιό hardware;

edit: Αν δε βγάλεις άκρη με το VBox, μπορείς σε windows να δοκιμάσεις κάλλιστα το Virtual PC.

To hardware είναι διετίας. Επειδή θέλω να έχω guest os κάποιο linux τo virtual PC νομίζω δεν βοηθά γιατί υποστηρίζει μόνο windows.

Κατάλαβα.. Να σε ρωτήσω, έχεις πρόβλημα μόνο με το guest additions; Χωρίς αυτό το VirtualBox παίζει κανονικά; Το χεις δοκιμάσει;
