ACAC '10 5th Athens Colloquium on Algorithms and Complexity 27-28 Aug.

Scope: ACAC is an annual meeting in Athens aiming to bring together researchers working in all areas of the theory of algorithms and computational complexity. It serves as a lively forum for presenting research results that are in a preliminary stage or have been recently accepted / presented in some major conference. Contributions may appear, fully or partially, in informal electronic proceedings available only to the participants (subject to authors' approval). The language of the workshop is English.
Registration: There will be no registration fees. However, participants should register for administrative purposes no later than August 10, by filling the registration form at
http://www.corelab.ece.ntua.gr/acac10/registration.php
Contributions: Participants interested in giving a presentation should provide a tentative title and a short abstract no later than July 20, by sending an e-mail to acac10[AT]corelab[DOT]ntua[DOT]gr. The organizers will make every possible effort so that all interested participants present their work (subject to schedule constraints).
Organizing Committee: Dimitris Fotakis, Elias Koutsoupias, Evangelos Markakis, Ioannis Milis, Aris Pagourtzis, Stathis Zachos (chair), Vassilis Zissimopoulos.
Local Arrangements: Andreas Goebel, Paris Koutris, Thanasis Lianeas, Eleni Mpakali.

Πώς θα πάτε? Εγω λέω να πάω με αμάξι,αλλα δεν ξέρω πως!
Ξεκινάω απο Πειραιά, οπότε αν θέλει κανείς να τον μαζέψω απο πουθενά ενδιάμεσα (Συγγρού,Πειραιώς ή κατι κοντά τεσπα) ας μου στείλει ένα pm να χαθούμε μαζί

me too αλλά μία προειδοποίηση.το πολυτεχνείο στην ζωγράφου είναι αχανές οπότε υπολογίστε πως θέλετε χαλαρά αρκετό χρόνο μέχρι να βρειτε το κτίριο.

.Α επίσης η κεντρική βιβλιοθήκη όπως λέει και το όνομα είναι στο κέντρο( καπτεν ομπβιους) οπότε δεν έχει σημασία από ποιά πύλη θα μπείτε.μπορείτε είτε να πάρετε λεωφορείο από κατεχάκη ή το 608 από ευαγγελισμό που βγάζει λίγο πιο πάνω από την πύλη ζωγράφου.

το πρωί λογικά. Θα το πάρω από Ακαδημίας. Δεν έχω κοιτάξει ακόμη για ακριβή ώρα.

Αν πάτε με μετρό, βολεύει καλύτερα να κατεβείτε Κατεχάκη και μετά να πάρετε το 242 που πάει μέσα στην Πολυτεχνειούπολη. Το 608 είναι ανυπόφορο τους θερινούς μήνες και κάνει στάση έξω από την πύλη Ζωγράφου, όχι εντός της Πολυτεχνειούπολης.

Γύρω στις 9 παρα τέταρτο θα μαζευτούμε μια παρέα στο Σύνταγμα έξω απ' το μετρό για να πάμε με τον τρόπο που πρότεινε ο Ισοβίτης. Όποιος θέλει μπορεί να έρθει (ή κανονίζουμε να τον βρούμε Κατεχάκη)

Είστε σίγουροι ότι θα έχει δρομολόγια το 242?Νομίζα ότι είναι μόνο για τους χειμερινούς μήνες που λειτουργεί το πολυτεχνείο

Διακόπτεται η λειτουργία τεσσάρων λεωφορειακών γραμμών για την θερινή περίοδο στο πλαίσιο της περικοπής των δαπανών που αντιμετωπίζει ο ΟΑΣΑ.
Οι γραμμές της ΕΘΕΛ που αναστέλλεται η λειτουργία τους:
242 Στ.Κατεχάκη-Πολυτεχνειούπολη
250 Πανεπιστημιούπολη-Στ. Ευαγγελισμού
Ε90 Πειραιάς-Πανεπιστημιούπολη (express)
Ε15 Στ.Λαρίσης-ΤΕΙ Αθηνών

Aν σου αρεσει το περπατημα δεν ειναι.
Ειναι (υποθετω) κανα 25-30λεπτο γρηγορο περπατημα το πολυ . Αλλιως ελα ακαδημιας παρα 15 και παμε με το 608.

Πράγματι, δεν το ήξερα. Αν θυμάμαι καλά, από Κατεχάκη περνάει και το 140, που σταματάει λίγο πριν το 242. Με τα πόδια είναι γύρω στα 25 λεπτά. Υπερβολικά μεγάλη απόσταση για θερμοκρασία > 37 βαθμών.

Ίσως το μεσημέρι, αλλά νωρίς το πρωί πριν έχει ανέβει καλά ο ήλιος δεν θα είναι πρόβλημα.
