Apple on Tuesday released Mac OS X 10.4.9, a recommended update for all PowerPC and Intel-based Mac computers currently running versions of Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger

Πιθανότατα θα είναι και το τελευταίο update πριν την διάθεση του Leopard.
Οι άτιμοι στην Apple δεν ξέρω τι χρονοδιάγραμμα έχουν, αλλά σε κάθε νέα έκδοση του λειτουργικού τους έχουν υπολογισμένα τα update έτσι ώστε το .9 να βγαίνει λίγο πριν την διάθεση της επόμενης έκδοσης. Αυτό θα πει σχεδιασμός και συντήρηση λογισμικού!
