εκανα restart και τα βλεπω κανονικα, χωρις τετραγωνακια...το πειραξα απο το configure your desktop/computer. Εντυπωσιακο θα ελεγα, αλλα δε θα το πω, γιατι δεν μπορω να βαλω τονους ακομα...

βρηκα οτι πρεπει να παω στο etc/sysconfig/i18n kai να προσθεσω μια γραμμη, αλλα μου λεει οτι δεν μπορω ν' αποθηκευσω το αρχειο γιατι η δεν εχω προσβαση η δεν εχω χωρο. απο τα λιγα που καταλαβα μαλλον ισχυει το πρωτο..και επισης δεν μπορω να μπω στο φακελο root εκτος και αν δεν πρεπει και λεω χαζα..μπορει καποιιος να μου πει:το account moy ειναι απλου χρηστη??

...και για να συμπληρώσω κάνεις ένα su (βάζεις το root passwd) και κάνεις τις αλλαγές σου κανονικά. Με ls -all /etc/sysconfig/i18n μπορείς να δείς ποιός είναι ο owner του file(μάλλον ο root) και τι δικαιώματα έχει(μάλλον 644 = rw-r--r--) ενώ με whoami βλέπεις ποιός user είσαι οπότε μπορείς να συμπεράνεις εάν έχεις δικαιώματα να γράψεις ή όχι κλπ κλπ.

Ο root είναι κάτι σαν να λέμε administrator. Δεν γίνεται ένα UNIX/Linux box να μην έχει root user. Είναι owner κάθε αρχέιου που ανήκει στο σύστημα. Με ένα ls -all θα το διαπιστώσεις αυτό πχ κάντο στο /etc που είναι τα config files, στο /bin, στο /usr/bin ...τέλοσπάντον οπουδήποτε.

το ξέρω αυτό, απλά σκέφτηκα ότι μπορεί να θεωρεί (όπως στα windows) αν δεν βάλεις εσύ κάποιον admin ότι ο user είανι και ο root ή ότι είμαι ήδη root..
