Αν δεν απατωμαι αυτες οι λιστες βγαινουν απο τους αναγνωστες και οχι απο τους συντακτες.Και ουτε λεει κατι μιας και το metal hammer το καλοκαιρι εκανε σχετικη ψηφοφορια και ειχε αλλα αποτελεσματα(και το master of pupets πρωτο, yeah ).

Αν και δεν είναι Metal η ερώτηση μου, μην φτιάχνω τώρα νέο θέμα... (ή εδώ ή στο Daytalking θα το έλεγε )
Διαβάζω την λίστα με τα Top-500 τραγούδια όλων των εποχών σύμφωνα με το περιοδικό RollingStone και δεν έχω βρε ΈΝΑ των Scorpions!!!
Και πείτε εγώ δεν το πρόσεξα, ούτε το CTRL+F το πρόσεξε?

Τους Scorpions μπορεί στην Ελλάδα και ίσως και στην Κεντρική Ευρώπη να τους έχουμε στο πάνθεον(και εγώ ένας από αυτούς, αν και έχουν αρχίσει πλέον να με κουράζουν από το Lovedrive και μετά), αλλά γενικά η Αμερική δεν τους είχε ποτέ σε τεράστια εκτίμηση(εκτός φυσικά από το "Wind of change"). Πάντως γενικά δεν έχω και σε τρελή εκτίμηση την συγκεκριμένη λίστα, αφού έχει κάποια πράγματα που δεν κολλάνε(π.χ. το "Stairway to heaven" κάτω από το "Smells like teen spirit" και το "Born to run"(!!!) ή το "Bohemian Rhapsody" 161(!!!!!) κα)
Κάπου είχα βρει μια πιο normal(βασικά δεν ήταν λίστα με αρίθμηση ήταν "κατάλογος"), αν βρω χρόνο θα την ψάξω

"Ronnie has been diagnosed with the early stages of stomach cancer. We are starting treatment immediately at the Mayo Clinic. After he kills this dragon, Ronnie will be back on stage, where he belongs, doing what he loves best, performing for his fans.

Rocker Ronnie James Dio is well on the way to beating stomach cancer - after doctors found his tumour has shrunk considerably.

The Rainbow, Black Sabbath and Dio frontman's health crisis prompted his current band Heaven & Hell to scrap European dates last year and he has been in treatment to combat the disease ever since.

Now, Dio's wife and manager Wendy has posted an online update on his condition.

She writes:

"It has been Ronnie's 7th chemo, another cat scan and another endoscopy, and the results are good - the main tumour has shrunk considerably, and our visits to Houston (cancer clinic in Texas) are now every three weeks instead of every two weeks."

Megadeth mainman Dave Mustaine was interviewed by Jose Mangin, program director for Sirius XM, on March 18, 2010 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. During the chat, Mustaine spoke about a recently recorded Megadeth song which will be used in an as-yet-undisclosed project later this year. Listen to the chat in eight parts here.

"That was a top-secret track that we haven't been able to announce where it's getting directed to," he said. "It's a song called 'Sudden Death', and appropriately so. And it's a pretty long song — it's not our usual three-to-four-minute length; it's more along the lines of... I think it's about five minutes long.

He continued, "We were approached to do a track for a specific purpose and we delivered it, and they said, 'Can you do more solos?' And I thought, 'Pfft, are you kidding?' That's like asking a guy, 'Do you wanna have some more sex?' So I went back in there and I went, 'Solo, solo, solo.' And I called Chris [Broderick, MEGADETH guitarist] back, and I said, 'C'mon back down here. Let's have some more fun.' And all you could hear was engines revving and brakes screeching out in front of the studio when he got there. You know, that's what we live for — is playing now."

Bret Michaels Suffers Brain Hemorrhage
Bret Michaels was rushed to the hospital late Thursday night after suffering a massive hemorrhage near his brain stem, this according to a rep for the singer.

Michaels is reportedly in critical condition at an undisclosed hospital. According to the rep, Michaels was suffering from excruciating headaches earlier in the day.

Michaels underwent several tests, the rep says, including CAT Scans and MRIs.

Michaels suffered from a "subarachnoid hemorrhage" -- bleeding at the base of his brain stem.

Earlier this month, Michaels was rushed to the hospital after experiencing stomach pains -- he ended up having his appendix removed.

6/6 International Day of Slayer (και Metal γενικα)

For the fourth year in a row, fans of heavy metal music unite on June 6 for the International Day of Slayer, a holiday to celebrate heavy metal. Metal fans are hoping for recognition of their culture and way of life as an elective culture of equal footing to other cultures and religions in our pluralistic society.

Growing up as a fan of heavy metal in Los Angeles, teenager Dag Hansen became frustrated with holidays. "Every time a holiday came around, it was culture this or culture that," he said. "I wanted one to reflect my culture, because in the land of malls and triplicate forms, I found more cultural value in heavy metal than any of the stuff other people called culture."

Fast forward almost two decades and Hansen is part of a small group trying to get an "International Day of Slayer" accepted as a public holiday. Originally the National Day of Slayer, formed in response to the American "National Day of Prayer," the holiday has gained momentum over the last four years. Its message that heavy metal is a culture and deserves recognition alongside other cultures in our diverse world, while at first unorthodox, is gaining momentum.

In the past year, movements have gained momentum to make Vulcan (of "Star Trek" fame) a legitimate category on the census form and to declare heavy metal an official religion in the U.K. The International Day of Slayer is no different, but perhaps more focused. "We wanted a way to pay tribute to metal as a culture that didn't interfere with anything else," Hansen said. "A holiday is one day and while very symbolic, isn't going to break anything."

The International Day of Slayer as proposed occurs on June 6 of every year starting at 6:00 AM (6/6/6 - get it?). Participants are urged to listen to Slayer at top volume, and not go to work or school so they can keep listening to Slayer. Those interested in celebrating can join the like-minded at nationaldayofslayer.org.
