Until recently, the only way to leave a smirking Trollface was to either type out “trollface.jpg” or paste a link to the image people have to click on to see, but get clued in by the link itself resulting in massive stealings of thunders.
Well, no more! A developer called Jeayese has released a Chrome extension that converts text commands into actual images.
The GOOD NEWS is that there are lots of different faces available already, and the developer said that if there’s interest, he’ll add more.
The (kinda) BAD NEWS is that in order for others to see your comedic copypasta, they have to have the extension, too. But you’re all using Chrome* anyway, right?
*This statement is directed at our embarrassingly large Internet Explorer audience, not you Firefoxers or “I build my own browsers from scratch” crowd. You all keep doing what you’re doing.
