Στο Τρόντχαϊμ της Νορβηγίας όπου εργάζομαι τώρα ως μεταδιδακτορικός ερευνητής, και συγκεκριμένα στο Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU - το μοναδικό πολυτεχνείο της χώρας, και ένα από τα κορυφαία ιδρύματα σε ολόκληρη την Σκανδιναβία), μόλις άνοιξαν 6 νέες θέσεις για διδακτορικές σπουδές, φυσικά με αμοιβή.

Up to 6 PhD research fellowships are offered at the Department of
Computer and Information Science (IDI), Faculty of Information
Technology, Mathematics and Electrical Engineering (IME), Norwegian
University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
The department wants as good applicants as possible, hence there are
no restrictions on the research topic, as long as the candidate works
within one of the department's research areas, cf. the department's
web pages with an overview of its research groups:

Applicants must have a Master degree in one of the following, or similar, areas: computer science, informatics,
software engineering, information systems. The
PhD fellow is expected to participate in the professional community
within the relevant areas of IDI. Applicants must contact a preferred
supervisor at the department (professor or associate professor,
specific persons can be found by clicking the research groups that
seem most appropriate on the web page mentioned above), and in
collaboration with the preferred supervisor make a project description
of 2000-3000 words to follow the application. The project description
is to document theoretical and methodological knowledge about the
research area together with a sketch of important research
problems. The evaluation of applicants will be based on their
education, job experience, possibly other relevant experience and
scientific publications. Applicants must satisfy the formal
requirements for admission to the PhD studies at NTNU. See
