Καυτές εξελίξεις στο hardware,τα gadgets και τεχνολογίες !!!

Για τον απλό οικιακό χρήστη, με ένα pc και 2 ηχεία, τι παραπάνω μπορεί να προσφέρει σε σύγκριση με μια παλία SoundBlaster Live 5.1 (ή μια ενσωματωμένη 7κάναλη realtek στην mobo)?

@tsilochr Αυτές τις διαφορές τις βλέπεις όταν συνδέσεις πάνω ηχοσύστημα >1500Ευρώ όπως εγώ... Αυτό που μου έκανε εντύπωση είναι ότι η δεύτερη κάρτα είναι σε PCI-Express X16!

Δεν περίμενα μια κάρτα ήχου να θέλει τόσο bandwidth...Αλλά ίσως είναι και εμπορικό κόλπο, όπως γινόταν με τις κάρτες γραφικών που μόλις τώρα (με τη γενιά Nvidia 8x00) έχουν ανάγκη το PCI-Express x16...

Samsung SyncMaster 940UX: Η πρώτη USB Οθόνη

Παρόλο που η ενσωμάτωση των USB στις οθόνες έχει πάρα πολύ καιρό που έχουν κυκλοφορήσει στην αγορά, η Samsung καινοτομεί και δημιουργεί μια οθόνη που συνδέεται με τον υπολογιστή μέσω usb και δεν χρειάζεται κάρτα γραφικών για να λειτουργήσει.

Συνδέοντας την οθόνη με usb 2.0 δεν υπάρχει περιορισμός στην μετάδοση video αφού αυτή γίνεται με 480Mbps και σε ανάλυση 640x480 χωρίς καμια συμπίεση και με ρυθμό frame rate 60Hz. Η οθόνη αυτή θα κυκλοφορήσει με δύο chip το DL-120 και DL-160. Οι αναλύσεις που θα υποστηρίζουν θα είναι 1400x1050 για το DL-120 και 1600x1200 για DL-160.

Tα αστέρια της AMD

H AMD πρόκειται να κυκλοφορήσει επεξεργαστές δεύτερης γενιάς όπως και η ίδια τους αποκαλεί. Οι ονομασίες αυτών είναι για quad-core o Deneb FX και Deneb, για dual-core ο Propus και ο Regor και για single-core ο Sargas. Οι επεξεργαστές αυτοί θα είναι συμβατοί και με μητρικές ΑΜ2 και ΑΜ3 αλλά και με μνήμες όπως είναι φυσικό DDR-2 και DDR-3

AMD apparently will be ringing in another chapter in the CPU price war with Intel, lowering the prices for most of its desktop processors almost half a year before the anticipated introduction of the next-generation Phenom processor.

All mainstream processors are now priced well below the $200 mark: The fastest mainstream dual-core CPU Athlon X2 6000+ will be available for $178 (before: $241), according to the new list. The 5600+ drops from $188 to $157, the 5200+ from $178 to $136, the 5000+ from $167 to $125 and the 4800+ from $136 to $115.

The 4400+ and 4000+ are the new entry-level dual-core processors with prices of $94 ($121 before) and $73 ($104). The list indicates that the 3600+ and 3800+ have been phased out and are not available anymore.

On the high-end, AMD drops the price for the FX-74 pair from $700 to $599. The FX-72 remains at $599.

Single-core processors are affected by the price drop as well. The product portfolio now begins with the entry-level 3200+ model, which lists for $48 ($58 before) and tops out with the 4000+ which is priced at $79 ($94).

Ήδη στην Ελλάδα έχει γίνει η προσαρμογή λόγω παραγγελίας από τα νέα trays (μειωμένης τιμής) στα περισσότερα καταστήματα. Ηχηρό παράδειγμα αποτελεί ο κορυφαίος της AMD, Athlon X2 6000+ ο οποίος συναντάται ακόμα και στα 154 Ευρώ (πηγή Skroutz.gr)
