The EDBT Summer Schools are a well established and successful international series organized every two to three years and has been very popular among young researchers in the database area. The 8th edition of the EDBT summer school will be held in Bozen-Bolzano in 2007. It is organized by the Faculty of Computer Science at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano
This year's summer school presents tutorials on four areas: statistical database techniques and stream data management; database tuning and performance; information retrieval techniques, text and multimedia databases; and biological data management.
