Game Developer for Mobile Development team
We are currently seeking a Game Developer for our Mobile Development team.
The Game Developer is responsible for designing and implementing mobile multiplayer games for the Android or iOS platform.
Work will include game designing as part of a team, requirements analysis, client and server implementation.
Individual should have the technical skills and creativity to develop engaging and intuitive games.
Duties
-Game design
-Graphical user interface implementation, animations, visual components
-Game engine implementation, networking
-Server side implementation, database, engine, networking
-Social networks integration
-Work with the graphics team to design layouts in an appealing, intuitive manner
-Constant game improvement and debugging
Specific Accountabilities:
-Monitoring game performance in the market or app store, reviewing user comments and improving game concept
Education & Skills
- A degree in Computer Science
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Fluency with graphical user interface implementation.
- iOS or Android platform experience
- Familiar with game design/implementation
- Multi-threaded / Multiplayer environment implementation
- TCP/UDP Sockets Networking Communication
- JSON/XML
- J2EE development skills for Server-side backend of games.
- SQL, SQLite fluency
- Creativity is a plus
- Knowledge of graphic tools (Photoshop, Illustrator) much appreciated
- Master Degree in CS will be considered as an asset.
