Futurvention: Part-Time Students for Mobility Project

Futurvention, a “Startup” in the field of Mobile Technologies and Location-Based Services, is seeking to cooperate with 1-2 undergraduate or postgraduate students on a part-time basis. Applicants should be strongly motivated and passionate for new technologies, have an entrepreneurial spirit with a very good sense of technological trends and eager to learn. They will participate in the development of a world-class innovative and state of the art product in the field of Mobile Social Networking having as main responsibilities:

• Application testing on multiple mobile devices and provide feedback to development team (MAIN Responsibility)
• Helping in the product design and functional specifications
• Potential involvement in the application development (iPhone, J2ME and Android platforms) and eventually change to a full-time position (always taking into account candidate availability).

Required Qualifications

• Very good knowledge of mobile technologies and platforms as well as significant experience in the usage and installation of mobile applications, ideally in multiple platforms (J2ME, iPhone, Android).
• Good Java Programming skills
• Experience in J2ME and iPhone development will be considered a plus
• Structured and analytical thinking
• Be an undergraduate (3rd or 4th year) or postgraduate student

In the beginning, applicants will work remotely part-time, with minimal physical presence. Furthermore, they won’t be asked to write code even though programming skills are needed to successfully accomplish their responsibilities.
