The first 2 positions will involve work on the new EC FP7 Projects
SPACEBOOK, Help4Mood, and JAMES investigating, developing, and
evaluating data-driven Machine Learning approaches to Adaptive
Multimodal Interaction. These posts start on 1st of February 2011, for
3 years full-time employment (with opportunities for extension).
The projects involve collaborations between Heriot-Watt University and
the Universities of Cambridge, Edinburgh, Umea, Bielefeld, Valencia,
Catalonia, FORTH (Greece), KTH (Sweden) and companies in Barcelona,
Italy, Germany, and Sweden.

The third position is to work on the ESRC/EPSRC Technology-Enhanced
Learning project "ECHOES" for a period to cover maternity leave of a
current researcher. The post is expected to run from January 2011 to
August 2011, full-time.

The posts will be located in the Interaction Lab at Heriot Watt
University's School of Mathematics and Computer Science (MACS), see
http://www.macs.hw.ac.uk/InteractionLab . The successful candidates will join
an existing team of 5 postdoctoral researchers.
