και ομως ειναι πραγματικότητα ...

Αποτελειται απο ένα επεξεργαστή RISC της AMD, 4 θύρες USB 2.0, κάρτα ήχου 16-bit και κάρτα γραφικών που υποστηρίζει χρώμα 24-bit σε ανάλυση μέχρι 1280×1024 και flash memory 64 ή 128 MB RAM ! Θα υποστηρίζει επίσης ασύρματη δικτύωση !!!

Eπίσης ερχεται με ενσωματωμενο Internet Explorer 6.0

Tο Jack PC καταναλώνει μόλις 5 Watt πρόκειται να κυκλοφορήσει σύντομα από την Jade Integration

Η βασική έκδοση του Jack Pc κοστολογείται στα £209 χωρίς οθόνη και χωρίς πληκτρολόγιο.

Δε θα αργήσει ο καιρός που τα μελλοντικά σπίτια θα είναι απόλυτα δικτυομένα.Μας βλέπω σε κάθε δωμάτιο να έχουμε μια πιο εξελιγμένη "πρίζα" που να μεταδίδει φωνή, εικόνα, ήχο (συνδεδεμένο με διαδίκτυο) και ένας κεντρικός υπολογιστής στο σαλόνι για τη διαχείρισή τους.

Και ο ΙΕ που κολλάει ?? Δεν αναφέρεται κάπου ότι υπάρχει κάποιο OS εγκατεστημένο...
Πάντως κάνει το τέλειο Thin Client

The Jack PC runs Windows CE, is designed to connect to "any terminal server-based environment" and has Citrix ICA and Microsoft RDP clients built in.
It is by will alone I set my mind in motion...
